Rimigo, a Bengaluru-based AI-driven travel startup, has raised USD 5,50,000 (~INR 4.58 crore) in a pre-seed round. The round was co-led by Japan’s Reazon Capital and SGgrow Capital with several prominent Indian angel investors participating. This is a big vote of confidence in Rimigo’s vision to change the way we plan travel.
Among the angel investors are S. Ramadorai, former CEO of TCS; Ravi Nigam, former MD of Tasty Bite Eatables; Shashank Deshpande, MD of Pentathlon Ventures; and Ujjwal Jain, Founder of WealthDesk and CEO of Share.Market. They see Rimigo’s potential to make travel planning more human and less fragmented.
Redefining Vacation Planning
Founded in 2024 by Sahil Sharma, Shubham Chintalwar, and Aditya Shirole, Rimigo is solving a problem that travelers have been facing for long: complexity, lack of personalization and information overload in planning international trips.
The company’s AI-powered platform offers end-to-end vacation planning, curating every aspect of a trip — from flights and hotels to dining options and activities — entirely based on the user’s preferences and destination choices. Unlike traditional travel services, Rimigo combines intelligent automation with human curation to deliver a highly personalized and seamless travel planning experience.
“Vacations are emotional investments; people save up all year and dream of perfect holidays. Yet, today’s platforms are mostly transactional and impersonal,” said Sahil Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of Rimigo. “We want to make travel planning intuitive, responsive and uniquely personal through AI and local insights.”

Strong Early Traction
Since launching its beta phase, Rimigo has already organized over 120 vacations, with about 50 trips successfully completed. The remainder are currently in various stages of planning. This early traction, largely driven by user referrals and repeat customers, signals a strong product-market fit for Rimigo’s innovative model.
“With recent advances in AI, we now have the unique opportunity to create a truly personalized vacation planning experience, adapting dynamically to travelers’ evolving needs,” added Shubham Chintalwar, Co-founder and CTO.
Currently in the beta stage, Rimigo is tackling critical challenges that modern travelers face: complex booking processes, overwhelming volumes of information, limited personalization, and insufficient local expertise.
The platform also integrates collaborative planning tools, allowing groups of travelers to plan trips together seamlessly — a feature that sets Rimigo apart from traditional solo-focused travel services.

Strategic Use of New Capital
The new funds will be used to build the product, expand the core team of travel and tech experts, hire top talent in AI, travel curation and software engineering. The capital will also be used to enhance AI, deepen personalization and get ready for a larger market launch beyond the current beta users.
Looking ahead, Rimigo will continue to focus on simplifying and making international travel planning. By combining AI driven personalization with curated insights and collaborative planning, the company will make global travel more accessible, more enjoyable and more unique for every traveler.
